ALUMNI RECONNECT-2018 ; AN INSIGHT ON INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION

On 10th August 2018, Ahlcon, with open arms welcomed back it’s alumni for an intriguing panel discussion. The panel consisted of students who have made their mark and have followed unconventional paths to reach a place people call their ‘dream place.’ They were to share how they reached their dream places, how has their experiences been yet and how did Ahlcon shape their personalities. The event was graced by introductions by the alumni, Mridul Jain (B. Arch, Architect at Studio AVT Architects Pvt. Ltd), Aarushi Mittal (B. Tech, IGDTUW, Delhi), Maryam Rehman (Pre-Med Psychology, University of Californai, USA), Vanshika Shekhar (B.A. Psychology, Temple University Philadelphia, USA) and Vibhuti Aggarwal (B. Sc Hons., Bio-Chemistry, Delhi University). After the introductions, an interactive Question-Answer round took place where the curiosity of the students was served by the panellists. An interactive session took place between the students and alumni. They answered their questions and doubts as in when should they start applying for colleges in India and abroad, what all sources and books they considered to score for their tests and almost everything the students anted to know. They also shared their experiences about their college lives and how Ahlcon helped in shaping their future by helping them at each and every step, serving the motto of the school, ‘Global Perspective; Indian Values.’
