Ahlcon International School trains students to exercise reflective judgment, responsibility for themselves and their community, and take part in shaping their country and its policies. As part of the Conceptual Research Experience Program done in collaboration with CL Educate, Paridhi Puri from Class XI and Poorvi Seth from Class IX, with their mentor Ms. Chetna Sabharwal participated in poster presentation at ‘Melting Pot 2020’ Innovation Summit.

A one of its kind event, held in Hyderabad on 14th – 15th November 2017, the summit was a brilliant platform enabling collaboration, networking and knowledge share between the various stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem to catalyze the transformation of the region into a global innovation hub. The topic of their research poster was “Understanding the Economic Conditions of Turkman Gate vicinity: An Employment Generation perspective.”

The objective of social innovation was achieved by linking the historical significance of Turkman Gate with the employment generation for locals. The students were exposed to a wide variety of questions and feedback throughout the event, which helped them build their understanding on the subject of discussion even more. The team was awarded with the Young Innovators Award for their outstanding efforts and ideas of innovation. With appreciation in their hearts and minds thirsty for knowledge and erudition, they embarked on this journey full of resilience and commitment.
