Consultation workshop on Inclusive Education

On 27th July 2017, Our School Counselor attended a consultation workshop on ‘Inclusive Education’ presided by Mr. Mukesh Jain, Joint Secretary & CEO of National Trust, Inclusive Education; and organized by ‘Inclusive India’. The workshop focused on deliberating upon the challenges faced in educating the challenged students and bringing the transformation at class level. Implementing inclusive education for all will require transformational change in education systems so that inclusion becomes an intrinsic feature of policy, culture and practice from the classroom to policy level. Parents, Students, counselors and principals also discussed about the day to day concerns in handling disabled students and the support required to make it better. Over 300 Principals, Counselors and special educators from Delhi- NCR had attended the event to contribute their part to inclusive education.
