On July 12th 2017, our school welcomed back alumni, who have been studying all over the globe, and the only difference that was there this time was that the old students did not come to the school as mere learners but they came here as mentors. They were there to share how they reached the platforms, we as students look up to and how Ahlcon helped them choose and pursue where they wanted to be.

The session began with introductions from Anik Kachroo (Pursuing B.Tech from Amherst), Vishesh Bhatia (Pursuing Genetics from IOWA University, USA), Naman Singhal (A DTU and IIM Kolkata graduate), Hashik Mohd. (Pursuing Medicines from Yerevan) and Komal Dhir (pursuing Psychology major from York University, Canada). Then the second round involved answering some questions that were directed to each speaker. The answers to the questions contained almost every detail one needs to know about an independent student life. The session was about knowing all the insights of staying abroad or in different parts of the country. The floor was then open to the students who wanted to know any details that were missed. By the end of the session every student knew a lot about living outside the box, from study pattern to part time jobs. Our alumni told us everything, they helped us, they mentored us and they guided us.

The school always strives to make us, the students, ready for what the world has to offer. The school stands true to its motto- “Global perspectives, Indian values”, as the motto reflects in the alumni.
